As part of our Portfolio Management & M&A team, you will work at the intersection of strategy, investments, and operational performance. You’ll support the entire investment lifecycle – from origination and deal execution to value creation within our portfolio companies.

Your Tasks




Value Creation & Portfolio Support



Support Operating Partners and portfolio company teams on targeted value creation initiatives Develop a deep understanding of company strategies, market dynamics, and competitive positioning Analyze operating and financial performance across the portfolio Build driver-based operating and valuation models (DCF, LBO, CCA/CTA) to assess impact on equity value and returns Prepare high-quality analyses and materials for investment committees and senior leadership



M&A Origination & Execution

Contribute to pipeline development: build target lists, conduct market and competitor analyses, and develop investment theses Support M&A processes end-to-end (buy-side, sell-side, and bolt-ons) – from origination to closing Perform transaction-specific valuations and returns analyses Coordinate workstreams across internal teams, banks, consultants, and law firms Prepare decision-grade presentations and materials for management and external stakeholders

Your Profile



Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field 1–2 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking (M&A), Private Equity/Venture Capital, Strategy Consulting, or Transaction Services/Financial Due Diligence (strong internship track record also considered) Strong interest in business models, competitive dynamics, and market structures Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with data sources such as Capital IQ, FactSet, and broker research Structured, hands-on approach and strong process discipline under time pressure Confident communicator with the ability to present clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders Fluent in English and German Team player with good judgment, curiosity, and a self-starter mindset – respectful, pragmatic, and eager to learn
