Within Luxoft Connected Mobility we're focusing on planning, designing and delivery of next generation end to end diagnostic and OTA solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

As Software Developer you will be responsible for the technical engagement with our customers, helping them to define, describe and implement the desired system.

Furthermore you will analyze existing solutions of our customers and state of the art technologies on the market and derive new solutions for diverse projects and customers. You will work in a highly flexible and adaptable team with different experts creating new software solutions in the wide range of vehicle diagnostics and software update over the air.

As a onsite in-vehicle testing expert you will support & run E2E-testing activities for our projects and do error analysis inside the vehicle.

Skills

Must have

Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or similar required

7+ years of experience in the software development domain within the automotive industry

Expert knowledge of C++ 14

Software development experience on Linux Systems and/or QNX

SW development & scripting experience Python

Expertise software development for Microprocessor based systems in the automotive domain

Good analytic skills / ability to analyze and evaluate existing solutions

Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics from ECU and diagnostic tester perspective

Strong knowledge on vehicle diagnostics and diagnostic use-cases (e.g. flashing, coding, calibration)

Knowledge on diagnostic standards like UDS, DoIP, ODX, MCD-3D

Knowledge on diagnostic tools, e.g. Diagnostic Testers, Aftersales Authoring Tools

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and professional appearance towards customers, suppliers and colleagues

Ability to demonstrate and communicate technical solutions to a none technical audience

A highly technical and analytical mindset which enables you to analyze, understand and evaluate highly complex automotive systems

Leadership and consultative skills

Very good English in spoken and written form

Nice to have

Knowledge in AUTOSAR Adaptive Standard

Understanding on UCM based update of AUTOSAR Adaptive systems

Good understanding on remote (OTA) ECU or Vehicle software update use-case

Expertise in the domain of flashing/coding and security of UDS ECUs

Ideally also:

Knowledge on OTA relevant VWG specifications (e.g., UDS Bootloader behavior, Update of file based systems, Dataset-download)

Knowledge on VWG specific update mechanisms: LUM Update
