Work Environment
In the vertical dynamics team of the "Simulation Eigenschaften Fahrsystem" department, you will work within a strong group of engineers focused on designing and developing vehicle systems during the concept phase of vehicle projects. Using advanced simulation and measurement methods, we define key driving dynamics and ride comfort characteristics and translate them into actionable solutions.
As an intern in ride comfort simulation, you’ll gain hands-on experience tackling cutting-edge challenges in chassis development and actively contribute to innovative solutions.
Job Purpose/Role
Learn and work with simulation models, tools, and methodologies related to ride comfort
Improve existing simulation models, tools, databases, and methods
Collect and organize data for vehicle projects and help automate data collection processes
Support ongoing projects within the Vertical Dynamics team in the area of ride comfort simulation
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Enrolled in a degree program in automotive engineering or a related field (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, etc.) with strong academic performance (knowledge of MATLAB desirable) or in a computer science program (knowledge of Python desirable)
Passion for vehicle and chassis technology, data analysis, and simulation-based development methods
Structured and independent working style
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The final internship period will be agreed upon during the discussion with the department.
