EIFER seeks a master student for an internship position (m/f/d) in the field of
Electricity Grids and Regulation.
This position is particularly suited for students seeking to write their masters thesis.
Start: 01.02.2026
Duration: max. 6 months (compulsory internship)
Weekly working hours: 39.5
Remuneration: 560€ monthly
Responsibilities
Analysis of the technical and regulatory aspects of electricity grids in Germany and France, with a focus on technical grid connection conditions. Cooperation and consultation with experts and various stakeholders in the field of electricity grids. Conducting comparative studies between Germany and France on this topic.
Requirements
Currently enrolled as a masters student
Preferred study subjects: Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics or similar.
Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Interest in energy research and sustainability.
Written and spoken German and French (minimum B2 level),
knowledge of English is an advantage Initial experience or university courses in the field of electricity grids, markets and/or regulation. Experience in the field of electromobility is an advantage. Interest in working in an exciting trilingual project and work environment.Benefits
