We are looking for a Colour & Material Design Intern for our Ford of Europe Design department, based in Cologne. You are an exceptional Design student who is passionate about Design. A true storyteller, with a keen eye for modern Design, who keeps up to date with the latest trends & technologies and obsesses over the finest detail in Design. You will join our Creative team as a Exterior Design placement student and be part of a highly creative team.



Have an excellent portfolio showcasing their excellent visual communication and creative skills. Be proficient with CAD tools, with rendering and visualisation skills using Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar. Have a passion for design and product development, and take a user-centric approach to design. Independent, self-reliant and ambitious mind-set, also on "white space" projects. Your design decisions are based on a rationale and you’re able to present and explain it to your teammates Fluent in written and spoken English

Create and develop highly emotional, industry leading C&M design proposals Support of design proposals for various Design projects Develop appropriate presentations for senior management reviews Be a pro-active member of the Design studio, working closely with the Designers Work closely together with the mentor to ensure your deliverables are on target Using appropriate technologies to deliver best in class & ensure product competitiveness Always putting the customer first - working closely with your mentor to leverage synergies and incorporate the customer perspective * Create modern experiences by applying digital & analogue tools
