Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Holistic overview

: getting familiar with Infineon’s code generation framework and with RISCV and architecture variants

Take responsibility

: development of an enhanced generator concept to support specific instruction decoder structures

Shape the future

: implementation of instruction decoder generator enhancements, apply it for various RISCV cores, measure timing and area, while ensuring functional equivalence with existing solutions

Experience research

: contribution to a publication desired

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Study field

: Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or similar

Experience

: with metamodeling and code generation as a plus

Skills

: proficiency in Python, Linux and Git – programming skills are a must

Knowledge

: background in design, modeling, synthesis and simulation of digital circuits with (System-) Verilog or VHDL

Availability:

you are available for an upfront internship to get familiar with some of techniques before the thesis stars

Language skills:

English or German, both written and spoken
