SmartRay is a founder-owned high-tech company with headquarters in Wolfratshausen near Munich and several branches worldwide. We focus on metrology grade inspection delivered through 3D laser triangulation sensors. SmartRay is split into two successful business units: Sensor technology: ECCO sensors located in Wolfratshausen, and JOSY the complete solution for weld seam inspection, located in Münsing at lake Starnberg.


With first-class sensors and the associated software, JOSY offers an all-in-one turnkey solution for non-contact visual 3D inspections. What to expect:

Help with application feasibility studies Support with the implementing a new robot safety system Execution of software and hardware test in close cooperation with R&D Robot programming (Kuka, Epson) Using and testing fieldbus systems (Profibet, Profibus, EtherCAT)

What to bring:

------------------

You are studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable course of study Experience with robotics, electronics or automation technology (Beckhoff) is desirable Hands-on mentality You are creative and have good problem-solving skills Fluent in englisch or german
