Job Overview

Do you enjoy capital-market puzzles and building software that solves them? Our Equity Operations team designs and maintains data pipelines that power next-generation index and ETF products. If you like turning raw market data into clean, queryable databases and mapping out how each component fits into a larger architecture, we would love to work with you.

Your Tasks

Collecting and validating equity and corporate-action data from APIs, SFTP feeds, and web sources Designing simple data pipelines: creating scripts that load raw files into staging tables, runing quality checks, and publishing clean datasets for downstream use Supporting the daily index-rebalancing process by automating recurring workflow steps with Python, SQL, or VBA Building prototype dashboards or notebooks that let analysts explore new thematic-index ideas Collaborating with adjacent teams (Index Research, Data Engineering, Infrastructure) to integrate your code into our production environment

Your Profile

You are enrolled in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a similar program Strong interest in stock-market mechanics, index construction, and investment trends Comfortable collecting data from APIs or flat files and loading it into relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) Solid programming foundation in at least one language such as Python or VBA; basic knowledge of Git is a plus Able to think in systems - you enjoy sketching how different services, tables, and scripts connect Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Fluent in English Ideally available for a six-month internship
