We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Financial Risk Management. In times of financial crises or volatility in FX, commodity and fixed income markets, effective risk management is more important than ever. As the interface between the BMW Group and global financial markets, our team designs, structures and implements strategies to safeguard the value created by BMW’s core business activities against financial market fluctuations.

What awaits you?

You will support our motivated, results-driven treasury team and contribute to cross-departmental collaboration. Furthermore, you help to streamline, automate, and accelerate reporting and analytics tasks using BI technology and programming routines. In addition, you will validate, develop, and further improve BMW Group's risk management and decision support tools. Moreover, you assist in documenting your work and gain valuable insights into BMW's hedging program.

What should you bring along?

Studies in business, finance, mathematics, computer science or a related field. Strong analytical mindset and enthusiasm for data analytics and predictive modeling. Experience in data collection, aggregation, organization and analysis. Passion for data visualization, e.g. dashboard design and building. Technical skills in data analytics software such as Power BI or R.
