Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting, and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. Now we are looking for a motivated Intern (f/m/d) to join our team and gain hands-on experience in an exciting international environment.


The internship can be completed either as a mandatory internship in accordance with your study regulations for the required duration or as a voluntary internship alongside your studies. Ideally, we would welcome your support for a period of at least four months.

Tasks that will inspire you

Get a first-hand impression of consulting projects by learning how to analyse data, optimise processes and translate results into clear, meaningful presentations. While exploring global tenders and monitoring competitors, you gain a deeper understanding of international markets and emerging industry trends. In close cooperation with subject matter experts, you discover how project proposals take shape from initial idea to final concept. Your internship also gives you a broad perspective on business development and project delivery, turning each day into a diverse and valuable learning experience. Qualifications that matter for us

The foundation for your internship success are ongoing or completed university studies in an aviation-related, business, or technical discipline. Ideally, you already have some basic understanding or practical experience in the airport business sector. With your excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken, you communicate confidently in an international environment; any additional language skills are a plus. You handle MS Office applications and other digital tools with ease, enabling you to present and visualize ideas quickly and professionally. Beyond that, you are willing to undergo the legally required police background check in order to receive your airport badge. Benefits that will convince you
