Are you ready to kick start your career in IT Security? We're looking for a curious and detail-oriented working student to join our ICT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) team. In this role, you'll support key activities that help us manage IT risks, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and support outsourcing activities.
You'll work closely with experienced risk and compliance professionals and gain hands-on experience in areas such as audit readiness, risk assessment, reporting, and third-party risk management.
In this role, you will:

Support audit preparations by collecting documents and maintaining audit logs
Assist with basic checks on internal IT controls and document results
Help prepare risk reports, slides, and update dashboards
Collect and organise documents for risk assessments (e.g., vendors, tools)
Track risk and gap items in systems like OneTrust and JIRA
Follow up on open tasks and send reminders under guidance
Take notes during team meetings and keep shared folders organised
Help maintain internal templates, FAQs, and process documentation
Log and track incoming vendor risk requests and priorities
Request missing security documents from vendors or internal teams
Assist with drafting assessment summaries using predefined templates
Organise documents and outcomes in the central risk system
What you need to be successful:

Background:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Business Informatics, Engineering or a related field.
A strong interest in IT risk management, information security, and regulatory compliance in the financial services industry.
Previous internships, university projects, or coursework in information security, IT governance, or related topics are a plus.
Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, or DORA) and general IT concepts (e.g., IT controls, networks, cloud services) is beneficial but not mandatory.
Enthusiasm for learning how cybersecurity, IT risk, IT compliance, and IT governance functions operate within a fast-paced digital banking environment.
Skills:
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to develop a deeper understanding of Cybersecurity, ICT Governance, Risk and Compliance topics.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or FigJam is a plus.
Clear and structured communication skills; able to document findings and follow up effectively with team members.
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, both on-site and remotely.
Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
Willingness to quickly learn new tools, frameworks, and concepts relevant to ICT governance, risk, and compliance.
