At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
Human Sample Management Associate
Full-time and permanent
to join our Human Sample Management team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, discovery-driven environment within the Translational Biomarkers department, supporting Evotec’s drug discovery efforts by ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance in human sample management.
Key responsibilities:Collaborate within a multidisciplinary research team in a fast-paced, discovery-oriented environment across multiple departments and Evotec sites Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance for donor and patient samples at an international level Analyze, evaluate, and approve acquisition and use of human biospecimens, considering research intent and compliance requirements Implement and maintain documentation in line with company quality standards for human and clinical trial sample management in a Good Research Practice environment Support sample tracking and clinical data management in Evotec’s databases in collaboration with the team and line manager

Qualifications:Ideally a PhD in Biology or a related field (e.g., Medicine) with a strong scientific background and some years of experience in human sample management, quality or compliance, or related areas Alternatively, a Master’s degree with several years of relevant experience Proven experience in implementing workflows to ensure ethical and regulatory compliance Strong project management skills, including planning and organizational capabilities Ability to work on cross-functional, multidisciplinary projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders from diverse backgrounds Fluency in English; German language proficiency is a plus
