In this role, you will support crew HR and payroll-related processes in a newly established entity, working closely with the international Crew HR team and local partners and contributing to the setting up of HR foundations during the early stage of operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing processes and procedures related to crew recruitment, contracting, compensation, termination, etc.
Working with crew payroll processes, including close cooperation with the Payroll Accountant to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution
Providing consultation and guidance to employees and crew on local legislation and employment law matters in Malta
Participating in the crew recruitment process, scheduling interviews, and organizing all recruitment-related activities
Developing and explaining HR policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing crew members
Processing crew data and administering internal databases with digital personnel records.
Preparing crew-related documentation related to hiring, promotions, and terminations when needed
Collaborating closely with global Crew HR team in Lithuania to ensure alignment of processes, standards, and best practices across locations.
As you will work in a newly established company, the role may evolve over time and include additional HR-related responsibilities relevant to the initial phase of operations.#
We expect You to have:
At least 2 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Administration; aviation-related experience is a strong advantage
Good knowledge of Maltese employment legislation and labor law, with hands-on application in daily HR matters
Experience managing employment contracts, HR documentation, and employee lifecycle processes in Malta
Understanding of payroll processes and cooperation with payroll accountants or external payroll providers
Experience liaising with local authorities and external partners in Malta (e.g. employment registration, social security matters)
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Very good English skills and a proactive, flexible, hands-on mindset, comfortable working in a growing and evolving company.
