Target Candidate Profile
Based in Germany or available to relocate
EU-based Health & Safety Advisors with construction or data centre experience
Strong RAMS experience and subcontractor oversight
German language beneficial but not essential
EU citizenship or the right to live/work in Germany is required
About the Opportunity
This role supports a large hyperscale data centre project, focusing on site safety performance, documentation control, risk management, and compliance. You will work closely with contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure full alignment with German and EU H&S standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct EHS compliance checks and on-site inspections
Prepare and review Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)
Review subcontractor EHS documentation and training records
Lead accident and near-miss investigations and corrective actions
Carry out site safety audits and prepare reporting documentation
Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Support daily and weekly safety meetings
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a site-based H&S Advisor
Strong background reviewing subcontractor safety documentation
Experience performing site inspections and safety audits
Proven involvement in accident investigations and corrective action plans
Comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments
Experience in data centre or high-tech construction is highly desirable
Qualifications
Relevant Health & Safety qualification (Level 7 or equivalent preferred)
Strong knowledge of European construction safety standards
Must hold EU passport or legal right to work in Germany
