HEAD OF TECHNICAL PURCHASING (F/M/D)
Responsibilities


Leadership of the technical purchasing team at the Germany site Close collaboration with international purchasing and specialist departments to align global purchasing strategies Shared responsibility for managing technical investment projects in close cooperation with Engineering, Production, and Controlling Responsibility for the global purchasing process “Purchase to Pay” Development and implementation of commodity group strategies as well as international supplier management Execution of global tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier evaluations Use of modern digital tools such as eProcurement, Supplier Collaboration, and Spend Analytics Leadership and active participation in cross-functional, international projects (e.g., digitalization, sustainability, CAPEX) Regular review and optimization of existing purchasing processes with regard to efficiency, quality, and compliance requirements Active support of Engineering and Sales through purchasing expertise and strategic consulting Qualifications


Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field Additional certification in Project Management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMI) At least 5 years of leadership experience in technical procurement within an internationally operating company Experience working with global supplier networks and in intercultural collaboration Business-fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus Proficient in digital procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.) The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
