Your tasks

As Head of Quality, you play a central role in improving the quality and efficiency of the ASML Berlin site.



You are responsible for the process landscape at the Berlin site. As chair of the cross-functional Quality Board, you steer all quality initiatives at the Berlin site and act as the central interface to ASML’s global quality organization. You organize and prepare all internal and external audits.


Your Role in Program Management:


You are responsible for leading and further developing quality and excellence programs (Q&E) that require company-wide integration. You develop Q&E solutions for complex, systemic challenges in manufacturing, development, and procurement.


Your Contribution to Process Improvement & Collaboration:


You promote the implementation of process improvements through innovative process design and optimization, define process transformation, and integrate quality improvements as a core organizational principle. You redefine standards and position the Berlin site as a leader in excellent quality. You mediate between senior management and quality departments to manage company-wide initiatives. Your influence extends beyond organizational boundaries, as you collaboratively shape and promote site Q&E standards through partnerships.


Your Transformative Impact:


You design and implement a lived Q&E culture in which employees take responsibility and can freely express their opinions. You are responsible for actively promoting Q&E recognition programs and communication strategies.


Managing Customer Expectations:


You manage customer expectations regarding Q&E at the site and guide leaders in aligning quality initiatives with customer needs. You promote initiatives to establish the company as a trusted partner and shape long-term customer relationships through outstanding quality experiences.

Your qualifications

You have extensive experience in leading quality organizations and end-customer projects, recognized as an expert in quality, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma/Lean concepts. You hold a completed engineering degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or production engineering), ideally with a focus on quality management or manufacturing technologies. You hold certifications in quality management systems. You have experience in leading improvement and transformation projects in complex organizations as well as in change management. You bring expertise in statistical process control to ensure stable and efficient production processes, and an affinity for intelligent data analysis. You have professional leadership experience in project teams from various disciplines without disciplinary responsibility. You have fluent communication skills in both German and English.
