We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced application engineer to take on a leadership role in our technical marketing team, with a specific focus on MOSFETs designed for use in automotive applications. As the leader of the Product Applications Engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding a team of highly skilled technical experts, promoting a work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and collaboration among team members.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

Manage a team

of

Product Application Engineers

supporting

Automotive MOSFET products

Technical interface

to internal, external customers and development projects (R&D) Provide

Technical customer support to all regions

, CAEs and external partners to secure design-ins

Drive Product-to-System activities

with other business lines and sales organization

Develop high-quality application tools

, demo boards and technical collaterals for product launches, Go-to-Market activities and external events Deliver and maintain

internal and external technical training

and

customer documentation

including datasheets Understand

customers’ requirements

, competitors’ positioning and internal development efforts Responsible for

feeding back right-fit product requirements

to the organization

Establish and maintain strong working relationships

with key customers, industry leaders, Marketing, FAEs and sales team members Improve efficiency and foster digitalization constantly Collaborate with

internal teams

to support failure analysis The impact of the role is on

leading people and managing the team

Your Profile

As Head of Product Application Engineering Automotive MOSFET, you cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people. Moreover, you have the passion and the courage to develop new and creative ideas and you remain focused on solutions, open, and flexible even when under pressure.




You are best equipped for this task if you have:


A strong academic background, ideally

a PhD or Master’s degree

, in a relevant technical field e.g.

Electrical Engineering or Physics

At least

7 years of relevant working experience

, there of

5+ years relevant management

experience Deep understanding of

automotive applications and power semiconductors

, especially with

Si MOSFET

Experience in

handling customer interactions

and support in a technical environment Extensive knowledge in

development processes and automotive standards

Experience from the

semiconductor industry

with broad and global experience in different

R&D, marketing, application engineering, product definition and management areas

Leadership and mentoring skills

, with the ability to foster talents, build teams and drive knowledge-sharing across teams and networks Insight into how the own organization contributes to

achieving business objectives

including c

ost structure of development, support activities and products

Good communication skills in both verbal and written

English and German
