Position Overview
The
Head of DroneTalks
is responsible for leading all strategic, operational, and marketing aspects of the DroneTalks brand. This senior leadership role oversees three main areas:
Aerial Cities VIP Event
– our flagship annual networking event for industry leaders.
– our digital media channel producing interviews and branded video content for clients.
The successful candidate will bring strong
marketing and brand development expertise

and lead a
team of 4-5
professionals across event management, marketing, production, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and implement the overall growth and marketing strategy for DroneTalks.
Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team of 4-5 people.
Manage budgets, business development, and strategic partnerships.
Represent DroneTalks in the drone and UAM ecosystem, including at conferences and media events.
Aerial Cities VIP Event
Plan and execute the annual Aerial Cities VIP event from concept to delivery.
Develop event themes, programs, and speaker line-ups aligned with industry trends.
Secure sponsors, manage partnerships, and oversee logistics and promotion.
DroneTalks Academy
Oversee the development and delivery of online and in-person training programs on drone regulation, standards, and integration.
Collaborate with regulators, industry experts, and partners to ensure high-quality, relevant content.
Develop marketing strategies to grow the academy’s reach and engagement.
DroneTalks Video Portal
Lead the content and production strategy for interviews, thought-leadership videos, and client-branded content.
Ensure consistent brand voice, high production value, and impactful storytelling.
Oversee client project delivery, timelines, and satisfaction.
Marketing & Brand Development
Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to expand DroneTalks’ audience and influence.
Manage digital presence across website, newsletters, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Analyze performance metrics to guide strategy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
7+ years
of experience in
marketing, communications, or business development
, Aviation, drones, or technology knowledge is a MUST
3+ years of management experience
, leading cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of
drone regulation, U-space, and airspace management
(or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly).
Proven experience in
event planning
and
content or media production
.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
English language at native level
; additional languages are a plus.
