For our office in Hamburg Altona we are looking for an Head of Inside Sales to lead and develop our internal sales team at the Hamburg office. You will play a central role in ensuring efficient sales operations, strong customer relationships and cross-departmental collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
Team leadership & development: Lead and motivate the inside sales team, promote a solution-oriented work culture and support professional growth within your team.
Sales process management: Organize, coordinate, and continuously improve internal sales workflows - from initial customer contact and quotation preparation to order processing.
Process coordination: Collaborate closely with the Country Manager, Technical Department, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure seamless customer service.
Manage key accounts: Independently manage selected key accounts and coordinate complex inquiries and projects.
Controlling & reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, generate reports and derive actionable strategies to improve efficiency and service quality. Report and evaluate results with the Country Manager.
Development: Identify market opportunities and threats, propose initiatives and ideas to address them and discuss these with relevant management and executive teams.
Your profile:
Completed commercial or technical education, ideally supplemented by further training or a degree in Sales, Business Administration or Engineering.
Several years of experience in inside sales, preferably within industrial or technical environments, along with initial leadership experience.
Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial thinking.
A hands-on, professional attitude and a strong focus on quality and results.
Fluency in German and English (spoken and written). Dutch is an advantage.
Experienced in working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
