What you will do:
Development and execution of the ALSO Group's global tax strategy, considering the company's growth, IFRS reporting requirements, and the Group's digital operating model
Tax advice for the Group CFO and Group Management
Management of all tax aspects of M&A transactions (including due diligence, structuring, integration, and optimization after closing)
Ensuring full compliance with direct and indirect tax obligations in over 31 European countries
Developing, maintaining, and continuously enhancing tax governance in line with OECD BEPS principles and EU directives
Monitoring accurate and timely tax reporting in accordance with IFRS, including deferred tax calculation, disclosure, and audit support
Proactive identification and management of tax risks while establishing a strong control environment
Management of transfer pricing strategy and documentation for all business units in compliance with local and OECD requirements
Evaluation and implementation of opportunities for tax efficiency
Advising business and finance teams on the tax implications of strategic projects, new product launches, and the expansion of digital platforms
Supporting strategic decisional processes by providing tax insights on capital allocation and cross-border service models
Leading, developing, and training a high-performing international tax team (internal and external network)
What is required:
You have a degree in tax consulting or tax expertise
You have at least 5 years of experience in international taxation
You have in-depth knowledge of international corporate taxation, IFRS tax reporting, and cross-border tax planning
You complete your profile with experience in leading tax due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions, structuring transactions, and post-merger integration
You are well-versed and confident in EU and OECD frameworks, including transfer pricing, value-added tax, and Pillar Two Readiness
You have strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Your strategic mindset and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-growing environment round out your profile
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (other European languages are an advantage)
