Docplanner builds practice management software for the healthcare sector in the SaaS model. We help 130,000 doctors and clinics digitize their practices and deliver exceptional patient experience. We also run marketplace websites that allow 80 million patients monthly to easily find the right doctor and book an appointment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• together with the COO, define and implement the local Finance strategy
• professionalize the Finance function by bringing internal processes (PTP, OTC etc.) and internal controls to the next level to ensure financial safety and error-proof data
• own financial, accounting, administrative, tax, labour and legal operations in Germany including vindication
• hire, lead and develop a team of 3-4 people on a daily basis, ensuring achievement of targets and deadlines, while having some fun
• manage costs and cash position of the company
• prepare budgets, forecasts, and business cases to support management decisions
• manage external audits, including statutory accounts
• ensure all tax risks and requirements are under control, especially transfer pricing and VAT
• control and lead our external stakeholders including banks, tax advisors, external auditors, service providers and consultants
• review payrolls together with the HR team
• we are hands-on and there is a lot we don’t know yet : )

Requirements:
WHAT MAKES YOU A STRONG FIT

• 5+ years of relevant experience (finance, accounting, etc.)
• experience in running a finance unit of a local operation
• familiar with all finance functional areas, including budgeting, reporting, controlling, accounting (HGB & IFRS) and tax
• advanced Excel modelling and analytical skills
• experience in implementing a new ERP and financial processes to professionalize our young organization
• excellent multitasking skills, hands-on approach, dynamic, motivated and detail-oriented
• ability to interact with a wide variety of profiles and people
• hard-working, ambitious and focused on deadlines and results
• native German and advanced English level

A big plus will be:

• at least 2-3 years of (audit) experience from the Big Four
• experience in start-up/tech environment in a SaaS company
• experience with Oracle Netsuite
