Job Description

Your Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the Accounting and Controlling divisions
Management and development of the General Ledger, Group Accounting, Credit Management and Controlling divisions (approx. 23 employees)
Ensuring the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the consolidated financial statements
Planning, implementation and control of budgets and forecasts, including deviation analyses
Taking over annual planning and cost accounting
Central contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks and first point of contact for the Group management
Establishing and ensuring the implementation of current accounting and tax regulations, providing active advice and support to the team leaders/teams on accounting issues
Continuous development of the Finance and Controlling teams
Your Profile
Completed studies in economics (ideally with a focus on accounting) or a comparable qualification
Relevant professional experience in group accounting, preferably with experience in auditing
Proficiency in the German Commercial Code (HGB) (individual and consolidated financial statements)
Leadership experience is advantageous
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Hands-on mentality as well as a structured and independent way of working
High level of social competence, ability to work in a team and good communication skills for complex issues
