Responsibilities:


Lead and develop a large, multi-layer operations organization that enables Buying teams to deliver on their commercial objectives through reliable, efficient, and scalable operational execution Ensure excellence across buying-related processes by combining strong leadership, data-driven performance management, and continuous process optimization Own the performance, stability, and quality of core operational activities, including purchase order creation, delivery tracking, inbounding issue resolution, and contributions to end-to-end Procure-to-Pay excellence Establish clear operational standards and drive consistent, standardized execution across teams and categories, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality Act as a senior operational counterpart to Buying, Finance, Logistics, and Technology, driving cross-functional alignment, process harmonization, and continuous improvement
Requirements


Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or a comparable field 7+ years of experience in operations leadership within e-commerce, retail, fashion, or shared services environments Proven experience leading large, multi-layer teams (30+ FTE) Strong background in process-driven, KPI-based operational environments with clear performance accountability Demonstrated ability to lead change, stabilize teams, and sustainably improve performance Highly structured, analytical, and data-driven working style Strong people leadership skills with a clear focus on coaching, development, and accountability Experience working closely with Technology / Product teams on process automation and system improvements Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in complex, matrix organizations Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerBI (or similar tool); experience with SAP is a plus * Fluent English required; German is a plus
