We are currently looking for a Head of Alternatives Development (m|w|d) at our location in Munich, starting at the earliest possible date. The team supports cross-departmental investment units for Illiquid Assets and Real Estate with a focus on the strategic development of the business area.
Your Tasks:
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Alternatives Development department, including the teams “Alternatives Strategy & Advisory”,“Business Management Alternatives” and “Alternatives ESG Integration”
Strategic development of the Alternative Assets business area in close collaboration with the board of management and senior management
Active management of the interface with our internal (GIM) and external customers
Identification and evaluation of new business areas/asset classes, market segments, innovative solutions, and growth initiatives for the Alternative Assets area
Development and implementation of strategic and operational projects for the continuous improvement and standardization of processes and methods in the Alternative Assets area
Your Profile:
Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
Several years of experience in strategy consulting and/or the investment sector, preferably with extensive knowledge in the field of Alternative Assets
Strong conceptual and analytical skills, structured approach to work, pronounced problem-solving competence, and a hands-on mentality – from planning to implementation
Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities at all levels, moderation and coaching skills, as well as the ability to convey complex content in an understandable way
Quick understanding of workflows and system relationships, experience in process analysis and design, as well as flexibility in dealing with new or unexpected situations
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, as well as very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
