Job Description

Shape the Future of Climate Tech with Phlair!

Fossil fuels have powered our economy for decades—at the cost of pollution and a changing climate. At Phlair, we’re reversing that equation. With our cost-efficient, scalable electrochemical Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, we pull CO? from the air to either store it permanently or repurpose it into CO?-negative chemicals. Join us in enabling a carbon-negative future.

Why We’re Different?

========================

We’ve developed a

breakthrough hydrolizer

for acid/base regeneration, enabling scalable CO? capture. With partners like

Frontier Climate

,

Stripe

, and

Shopify

, we’re on track to make a global impact.

Our

Project Dawn

is our flagship initiative, setting the foundation to scale our technology and remove millions of tons of CO? from the atmosphere. We're one of the only seven DAC companies with a proven offtake agreement. Phlair is poised to become a technology leader, leveraging

renewable energy

and

low-cost DAC

to provide clean energy solutions that go beyond carbon removal.

Is this a fit for me?

-------------------------

We're building for the 3-5% who are energized by winning and thrive under pressure.

Our pace demands people who see excellence as non-negotiable and execution as everything. If you need extensive structure or prefer playing it safe, we're probably not the right fit.

Your mission at Phlair

--------------------------

As a

GTM / Business Development Intern

, you support Phlair’s commercial and go-to-market efforts across customer research, pipeline development, and strategic analysis. You work closely with the commercial team, CEO, and technical teams to help turn technology progress into real market traction.

This role is ideal if you want to understand how deep-tech climate companies sell, position themselves, and navigate regulation-driven markets.

What You’ll Work On

-----------------------

Support go-to-market and business development efforts, from lead research to early customer conversations. Research and map potential customers, partners, and use cases across CDR, industrial, and regulated markets. Track and analyze climate policy, regulation, and market signals that influence buyer behavior and demand for CDR. Prepare materials for outreach, meetings, conferences, and RFPs, including briefings, slides, and summaries. Help structure and maintain CRM data, sales funnels, and market intelligence.

This is not a “shadowing” internship. You’ll do real work that matters.

What You Bring

------------------

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, engineering, natural sciences, economics, or a related field. Prior internship experience in startups, consulting, policy research, sales, or venture is a plus, but not required. Strong interest in climate tech, carbon removal, energy, or industrial decarbonization. Analytical mindset with the ability to structure information and communicate clearly in writing and presentations. High ownership mentality, reliability, and comfort working in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.
