The position can be filled at the locations Salzburg (Austria), Germany (Freilassing), Montreal (Canada) or Warsaw (Poland).

Responsibilites
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement for both, statutory and management reporting purposes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (such as IFRS) and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures related to consolidation activities; ensure adherence to these policies and provide guidance to subsidiaries or business units on consolidation matters
  • Oversee intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany balances between subsidiaries or business units; ensure accurate elimination of intercompany profits, balances, and transactions during the consolidation process
  • establish and maintain effective internal controls over the consolidation process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data. This includes implementing and monitoring controls to mitigate risks and prevent errors or fraud
  • Maintain any changes in the consolidation system (change or create hierarchies, new accounts, cost centres, FX rates, etc.), help local controllers to validate and upload data
  • Assist in developing company-wide functional reporting, automated cash flow statement and other reports upon request
  • Participate in the annual budget preparation and month-end close activities, including forecasts update
  • Prepare commentaries related to company\'s performance (in coordination with local finance teams) in comparison with the forecast, budget and prior year
  • Take part in analytical exercises to support business decision-making, including but not limited to ad-hoc cost optimisation initiatives and investments
  • Participate in activities related to potential and on-going M&As
  • Support BOD presentations and reports
  • University level education with focus on Finance and/or Economics
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Proactive and responsive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced English Language
Advantageous:
  • Ex perience in Audit / Consulting in a globally recognized firm (Big 4)
  • Financial Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar)
