The Global Training Specialist (GPGs & GECs) plays a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of global training initiatives across engineering and R&D teams within the Global Product Groups (GPGs) and Global Engineering Centers (GECs). This includes collecting, coordinating, and executing training needs in alignment with global priorities and strategic objectives.
The role is responsible for deploying technical training programs such as global curriculums, skills and competence mapping, and assessment frameworks. It ensures that these initiatives are consistently applied across all relevant teams and contribute to the development of technical capabilities and career growth.
In addition, the specialist acts as a key liaison between TrafoSchool, GPGs, and GECs, facilitating collaboration and alignment across stakeholders. The position also manages the logistics of face-to-face training sessions in Bad Honnef, including local setup, HSE coordination, and communication with participants and trainers.
How you'll make an impact
Collect, coordinate, and execute training needs for all engineering and R&D teams in GPGs & GECs, ensuring alignment with global priorities and strategic objectives
Ensure the successful rollout of global training initiatives—including technical curriculums, skills assessments, and competence mapping—across GPG and GEC engineering teams
Collaborate with engineering and technology managers to align training execution with global capability-building goals
Track and report training KPIs using data from TrafoSchool to monitor adoption, effectiveness, and impact
Support the deployment and continuous improvement of global technical training programs
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure training content is relevant, accessible, and aligned with career development frameworks
Facilitate feedback loops to refine training offerings based on participant input and business needs
Act as a key liaison between TrafoSchool, GPGs, and GECs to ensure consistent implementation of training strategies and alignment with global priorities
Promote knowledge sharing and alignment across global training team
Oversee the logistics of face-to-face training sessions in Bad Honnef
Your background

Experience in training coordination or program implementation, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with learning platforms and KPI tracking tools (e.g., TrafoSchool)
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional setting
