Your responsibilities
Strategic Operations Development
Develop and execute a long-term strategy for scaling buycycle’s global logistics
Identify and assess new logistics partners and service providers globally
Evaluate and strategically position partnerships in the supply chain (drop-off points, fulfillment centres, box producers, 3PLs)
Analyse shipping and fulfillment performance and derive improvement initiatives
Drive projects for cost efficiency, speed improvement, and customer experience enhancement
Lead cross-functional strategic projects that shape the operational backbone of buycycle
Operational Excellence & Process Ownership
Oversee the procurement and availability of packaging materials (box ordering logic, production planning, forecasting)
Coordinate critical daily/weekly operational flows
Ensure invoice validation, financial tracking, and claim management with suppliers
Define and implement packaging standards, guides, and testing processes
Pilot and evaluate new operational processes
Partner & Supplier Management
Build and manage relationships with global logistics and packaging suppliers
Negotiate commercial terms, quality standards, SLAs, and integration timelines
Coordinate onboarding of new partners and ensure operational readiness
Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with buycycle’s quality and customer experience standards
Data & Performance Management
Define, track and evaluate key KPIs across shipping, packaging, and fulfillment
Derive data-driven recommendations for strategic decisions
Prepare performance reports and forecasts for leadership
Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks and cost drivers and develop targeted improvements
