Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in Regensburg.

Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Regensburg (93059)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Details
Availability: Mondays to Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm
Lesson Frequency: Twice per week
Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session
Current German level: Beginner
Native and other spoken languages: English, high school French, very little Japanese
Student’s language needs and goals: Daily communication.
- Building vocabulary
- Listening comprehension tips and strategies
- Common phrases native speakers use every day
- Slang
- How to be polite in the new country
- Ordering at restaurants
- Sustainability in the new country
- Going to the doctor
- A guide to shopping
- Using public transportation
- Phone calls
- Making friends
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications
Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of teaching experience
