Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.

At AVILUS, we develop, produce, and deliver technologies for safety-critical applications. We operate in a highly regulated environment that requires the highest standards in Legal & Compliance. As we are currently establishing this area, we are looking for a dedicated individual who is eager to shape structures, take responsibility, and drive topics forward in a pragmatic way.

Tasks

Establishment and further development of our Internal Compliance Program (ICP) Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating (international) contracts in close coordination with relevant departments Providing legal advice to management and teams on day-to-day business matters Supporting and implementing export control requirements (e.g., export control, dual-use goods, embargoes) Collaborating with external law firms (external counsel) on specialized legal matters Monitoring and implementing relevant legal regulations in both national and international contexts Assisting in the development of internal policies, training, and compliance communication

Qualifications

Completed law degree (First State Examination, LL.B., or LL.M.) or a comparable qualification Initial to several years of professional experience in a law firm or in a legal/compliance role, ideally within a regulated environment Interest in shaping structures and processes Strong understanding of economic and technical contexts Precise, solution-oriented working style and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
