Position: Full-Stack Engineer (Engineer IV)

Job Description : Mission Essential is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join a cutting-edge initiative in support of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) in Germany. This role plays a vital part in delivering critical engineering and technical support services, with a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced data science and engineering solutions to drive mission success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:





Front-End Configuration Tasks: + Configure User Interfaces (UI)
- Configure visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. As well as in Army and DoD specific systems.
- Ensure responsive design for compatibility across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
+ Implement User Experience (UX)
- Work with command sections and MSCs to optimize navigation, layout, and interactivity to enhance user experience.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the front-end.
+ Configure APIs
- Connect the front-end with back-end services.
- Handle data fetching, rendering, and error management.
+ Cross-Browser and device Compatibility
- Ensure the application works seamlessly across different browsers and Army/DoD systems (e.g., Chrome, Edge).
- Ensure the application works seamlessly across different device types (smartphone, tablet, desktop/laptop)
+ Optimize performance
- Minimize load times by optimizing images, scripts, and stylesheets.
- Implement caching and lazy loading techniques.
Collaborate with 21 st TSC G6 in the following Back-End Configuration Tasks: + Build Server-Side Logic
- Configure server-side applications using languages like Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP.
- Implement business logic and algorithms to process data.
+ Manage databases
- Design, create, and maintain databases using SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Write efficient queries and ensure data integrity.
+ Configure APIs
- Create RESTful or GraphQL APIs to enable communication between the front-end and back-end.
- Ensure secure and scalable endpoints.
+ Implement authentication and authorization processes
- Implement user authentication (e.g., OAuth, JWT) and role-based access control.
- Secure sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
+ Configure and Deploy servers
- Set up and configure servers using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deploy applications using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.

REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:

Years of Experience combination of any of the following: + Eighteen (18) years of recent specialized experience
+ Major IT Certification AND fourteen (14) years of recent specialized experience
+ Associate's degree in computer science, information management, or related discipline AND fourteen (14) years of recent specialized experience
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or related discipline AND ten (10) years of recent specialized experience
+ Master's degree in computer science, information management, or related discipline AND seven (7) years of recent specialized experience
IA Technical Level II certification or higher: + CCNA-Security
+ CompTIA CySA+
+ Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
+ GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
+ CompTIA Security+ CE
+ EC-Council Certified Network Defense (CND)
