We are looking for an experienced

Shopify Developer

(m/w/d) with strong expertise in

Liquid

and solid backend knowledge in

PHP

to join our team in

Munich

. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional e-commerce experiences on Shopify.

These are your tasks with us:

Develop and enhance Shopify themes using Liquid Build responsive front ends with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Contribute to backend development in PHP (API integrations, payments, inventory management) Optimize performance, SEO, and user experience Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers Maintain clean, scalable code using Git and CI/CD workflows

Advanced Shopify Stack (prioritized)

Shopify Plus: Experience with enterprise-level features (Scripts, wholesale workflows) Shopify CLI / Theme Kit / Slate: For streamlined local theme development Custom Shopify Apps: Developing private or public apps to extend Shopify functionality Headless Tech: Familiarity with Hydrogen and Oxygen for custom storefronts Shopify Functions & Extensions: Building checkout and customer account customizations

Your Profile:

You have 3+ years of professional experience in Shopify development You have a proven expertise in Liquid and Shopify theme customization You have strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript You have a solid backend development experience with PHP (Node.js is a plus) You have experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs You have a proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines You are independent, structured working style and strong team collaboration skills You are fluent in English
