What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges such as: Be part of Grünenthal’s M&A team – drive, coordinate and support financial assessment and analysis of licensing and M&A projects
Challenge business cases, drive overarching comparisons and foster consistent project assumptions and documentation
Collaborate closely with internal (e.g., Corporate Strategy, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Controlling) and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, FDD consultants)
Support the negotiation team in contract design from a financial/strategic perspective
Manage and perform impairment tests of Grünenthal group
Flexibly take on new tasks and challenges in a dynamic environment
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have: University degree in economics, business administration or finance
A high degree of engagement and assertiveness
Excellent understanding of complex economic relationships and ability to model those reliably
Good communication skills at all levels, high sense of responsibility and persuasiveness
Ideally, relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFA, ACCA, CPA), relevant working experience (e.g. Valuation, M&A, Controlling) and experience in project management
Fluent in business English, German is a plus
