) promotes scientific research, transfer work to the public and independent policy advice on all aspects relating to the structure and functioning of the financial system. It aims to contribute to strengthening a sustainable and resilient financial system that drives innovation and serves the needs of the economy and citizens. Researchers from the fields of economics, law, and political science collaborate at SAFE. The Policy Center is SAFE's second pillar and complements the research areas. The mission of the Policy Center is to support the Institute's researchers in appropriately and effectively contributing their findings and research-based policy recommendations to the policy and regulatory debate. The Financial Economist will contribute to research and writing for our policy publications and help organize events and policy meetings. The position requires strong research, writing, and analytical skills, along with the ability to work effectively with other researchers in SAFE.
