For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

Reconciliation/clarification of customer, insurer and general ledger accounts Independent posting of bank accounts, credit cards Support in the preparation of annual financial statements Coordination/control of payments and bank balances Extensive administration (documentation, preparation of annual financial statements) Direct communication with domestic and foreign shipping and insurance companies Checking and allocation of incoming invoices Processing of dunning and claim payments Coordination with external auditors and tax advisors Support in the development, optimization, and implementation of projects in the finance sector

Your Profile

Qualified completed training or successfully completed studies with a focus on finance/controlling First professional experience in accounting is desirable Experience in the field of taxation law (sales and insurance tax) would be an advantage Affinity and accuracy in dealing with numbers in daily business Fluent in spoken and written English (C1) Team player with independent way of working High customer- and service orientation Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
