Key responsibilities

Lead local accounting activities to keep track and optimize financial performance within an assigned Division/Business Unit/Product Group/factory/site. Support effective business activities by monitoring, analysing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.



You will be mainly accountable for:

Coordination and Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Accounting, as well as Bank and Cash Processing of Payment Transactions Preparation of month end closings in accordance with HGB Managing overdue payments and sending reminders or dunning letters to ensure timely collection. Maintaining and updating essential data records. Contact Person for Auditors Reporting to Authorities and Administrations and Statistics Compliance with company and country standard, regulations and guidelines

Qualifications for the role

University degree in Accounting or business /management degree; Certified accountant or a proven experience (>5 years) of applying HGB in production environment Good knowledge of business accounting (>5 years) experience in book keeping & monthly closings Industry relevant experience; knowledge of SAP & BW Fluent in German and English languages
