Job Description

The future looks like you

-----------------------------

At C&A, we are committed to transforming our financial and operational backbone to support a more agile and data-driven retail future. We are currently looking for a Financial Accounting Lead within our Supply Chain Finance function to lead the implementation of SAP/ERP Financial Accounting (FI) modules.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial integrity and compliance across sourcing, procurement, logistics, and sales activities. As we evolve our systems and processes, this position will ensure robust accounting structures and automation are embedded into our global operations, driving transparency and control at scale.

Your responsibilities

-------------------------

Lead the implementation of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) modules, ensuring full integration of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and tax processes across multiple regions. Oversee the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions tied to sourcing, procurement, logistics, and retail sales within the ERP system. Design and implement accounting workflows for vendor payments, freight and duty costs, and complex intercompany transactions across diverse markets. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring automation, accuracy, and efficiency in reconciliations and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations—including specific retail finance considerations such as consignment and franchise accounting. Collaborate with IT to guarantee seamless integration between SAP FI, POS systems, and e-commerce platforms. Lead financial data migration and validation for historical transactions, while providing comprehensive training to accounting teams on system use and compliance workflows.

What you bring

------------------

Deep expertise in SAP FI, with strong functional knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. Solid understanding of retail finance principles including inventory valuation, supplier invoicing, and payment terms. Track record of optimizing accounting operations through technology and automation. Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to bridge finance, IT, and supply chain requirements. Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach to financial process challenges. Minimum 8 years of experience in financial accounting, supply chain finance, or retail accounting—ideally within the fashion retail sector. Proven experience in leading ERP implementations in multi-country retail environments, including tax compliance, multi-currency, and intercompany processes. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
