We are looking for you to join our Finance team at our headquarters in Idstein as soon as possible. Our company headquarters will relocate to Eschborn in summer 2026, and your primary workplace will move to Eschborn from that time onward.
As a Finance PMO Lead (m/f/d)
you will play a key role in driving strategic, financial, and operational transformation initiatives across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the Finance PMO to ensure structured and efficient execution of finance?driven projects and cross?functional programs.
In the dynamic environment of the outdoor industry, you will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, Commercial, and regional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic and financial objectives.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
Establish and lead the Finance PMO, defining governance, standards, processes, tools, and best practices
Build and manage project prioritization, intake, and portfolio management processes aligned with CFO and Executive Leadership priorities
Ensure clear decision?making frameworks, escalation paths, and accountability across all finance?led initiatives
Lead and oversee complex finance and enterprise programs, including financial transformation, cost optimization, margin improvement, system implementations, and process enhancements
Translate CFO strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps with milestones, KPIs, and financial impact tracking
Monitor benefits realization and ensure financial outcomes are achieved and sustained
Act as a central coordination point between Finance and key functions such as Supply Chain, Operations, IT, Sales, Legal, and HR
Drive alignment across global and regional teams in a matrix organization
Prepare materials and updates for executive steering committees and senior leadership
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for project health, risks, dependencies, and financial impact
Provide clear updates to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team on progress, risks, and mitigation plans
Identify issues, dependencies, and resource constraints and drive timely resolution
Support change management efforts to ensure adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working
Continuously improve PMO methodologies, tools, and templates to enhance delivery efficiency
Foster a strong project management culture within Finance and across the organization
What you bring:
8–12+ years of experience in PMO, program management, or strategic finance roles, ideally in a global consumer, retail, or sporting goods environment
Proven track record leading complex, cross?functional finance or enterprise transformation programs
Strong financial acumen with the ability to link project execution to P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet impact
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with C?suite executives
Strong analytical, structuring, and problem?solving capabilities
Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and PMO tools
Experience in the outdoor, sporting goods, apparel, footwear, or consumer products industry (preferred)
Exposure to ERP implementations, FP&A transformations, or supply chain finance initiatives (preferred)
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification (preferred)
Strong communication skills and very good English skills, both written and spoken
High level of ownership, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast?paced environment
Collaborative mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity effectively
Results?oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
