Your mission

Build the financial backbone of one of Europe’s fast-scaling deep tech startup pioneering Next-Gen-Plastics

Reporting & Investor Updates:

You are responsible for internal and external reporting end-to-end, ensuring that management and investors have access to precise and up-to-date financial data at all times.

Closings & Compliance:

You steer the monthly and annual closings. Acting as the primary point of contact for our tax advisors, you guarantee that all tax and accounting deadlines and standards are met.

Operational Accounting & Process Automation

: Preliminary accounting in DATEV Unternehmen Online is your foundation. You also drive automation and implement tools and workflows to make invoice approvals and payment transactions more efficient.

Planning & Liquidity

: You secure our runway. You support the creation of budgets, cash flow projections, and rolling forecasts, providing the figures needed for upcoming fundraising rounds.

Controlling & Cost Management:

You keep an eye on the numbers. Through target-vs-actual analyses, you identify deviations early on and drive initiatives to use our funds as effectively as possible.

Your profile

You have collected

at least 2 years of professional experience in finance

– ideally in a dynamic startup, auditing, or consulting You work in a structured and analytically precise manner. At the same time, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment You are not looking for a purely administrative role. You enjoy building things from scratch ("Builder Mindset") and defining processes yourself rather than just executing them You are

fluent in German

and bring

very strong English
