Your Responsibilities

Work environment & key areas of responsibilities:

To strengthen our site leadership team, we are seeking for an experienced, strategic, and hands-on financial director who can lead cross-functional teams, ensure financial compliance, and support the company’s growth through sharp financial insight and operational leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, communicates effectively across departments, and thrives in a collaborative leadership environment. The Finance Director reports directly to the local CEO and functionally to the Group CFO.


Key areas of responsibilities are:

Finance Business Partnering:

Reassuring high transparency of all relevant areas for Group CFO as well as Top Management Team; challenging and supporting the operative business in a partnership approach Reassuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements Close cooperation with the PROBAT headquarter in Germany and sites abroad

Financial reporting & analysis:

Cost accounting and project analyses Financial planning and reporting according to Dutch and German GAAP Annual closing including discussions with the external auditors for the Dutch companies Cashflow steering and optimization of Net Working Capital Process optimizations

Leadership & Operational Oversight:

Leading actively the Procurement department Full responsibility for Order Administration & Export team and disciplinary for IT
Your Profile

Bachelor's or master's degree in business economics or business administration. At least 10 years of management experience in a commercial function for a medium-sized company or for a separate business unit of a larger company International as well as intercultural work experience Strong skills in Accounting / Controlling / Cash management, Taxes; basic legal knowledge for machine manufacturers You have a hands-on mentality, are result oriented and down-to-earth You’re combining intelligence, highest integrity and financial professional skills with people management skills. You are a real team player, leader and coach, aiming at creating an inspiring and motivating working environment for teams of professionals on all levels Excellent communicator and networker with high negotiation skills for dealing with our stakeholders, such as customers, banks, auditors, authorities, suppliers, etc. Languages: Fluent in Dutch & English. German is an advantage.
