About the Role:

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for environmental technologies and industrial systems? We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) equipment. This role involves extensive travel across Europe, working in dynamic industrial environments to ensure the optimal performance of pollution control systems. Job Responsibilities



Perform commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) equipment. Ensure all work complies with operational and safety standards. Provide on-site technical support and diagnostics. Collaborate with engineering teams and assist in proposal development. Conduct routine and emergency inspections. Prepare detailed technical reports and evaluate field data. Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs. Provide technical advisory services for new and existing equipment. Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities. Work with customers, account executives, vendors, and sublet vendors with minimal supervision. Participate in project startups and outages as part of a team. Assist in developing project scopes and identifying parts opportunities. Provide construction technical support and outage management.

Qualifications



Engineering degree preferred, or extensive experience in a relevant technical field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in field service or maintenance of ESPs. Strong knowledge of controls, instrumentation, and auxiliary systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams. Must be eligible to work in the EU. Fluency in business English is required; additional European languages are a plus. Certifications in electrical engineering, boiler operation, maintenance, or safety are advantageous.

Work Environment



Frequent travel across client sites (up to 80%), including driving on customer property. Work in industrial environments with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and confined spaces. Physical capability to lift and carry tools and equipment.
