Within the Hospital Care division of B. Braun Melsungen AG, we are currently seeking an Expert (f/m/d) for Equipment Integration und MES Systems in the Braun Technology Center (BTC).


The Braun Technology Center (BTC) develops and manufactures customized special-purpose machines and tools for medical technology. This organizational unit plays a key role in ensuring product quality and safety across the entire corporation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and successfully implementing the integration of production equipment into the MES system. You coordinate interface standards (e.g., OPC UA) and standard modules with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders. You provide technical support and consulting to internal project teams, production sites, and external suppliers. You develop and validate internal and external equipment suppliers. You support the identification, analysis, coordination, and documentation of new requirements for MES systems and related Operational Technology (OT) and architecture. You contribute to the development of standard solutions for global production automation, especially the B. Braun MES standard platform for discrete manufacturing. You actively participate in the international B. Braun Knowledge Network “Operational Technology.” You train employees, suppliers, and experts at our production sites. You act as a multiplier within the respective departments and global sites.

Professional Competencies:

You hold a successfully completed technical bachelor’s degree in fields such as computer science or electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology, or an equivalent qualification. You have extensive professional experience in implementing production-related IT projects and software solutions (MES, MDE, BDE), as well as in PLC programming. You have a strong affinity for Industry 4.0 and have successfully implemented projects in this area. You possess basic knowledge of software development in at least one high-level programming language (Java, C#, C++, VB.net). Ideally, you are familiar with working in the medical device environment regarding quality requirements, validation, and qualification. Your profile is completed by excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
