Embedded Software Architect (m/w/d)

Your tasks
  • You have a passion for developing audio and video products that enable exceptional meeting and learning experiences
  • You are responsible, along with the team, for the development and design of the architecture of Linux-based products. Not only do you contribute innovative ideas, but you also lead discussions and collaborations within our highly motivated development team
  • As an Embedded Software Developer, you take ownership of the seamless transition between hardware and software. Working together with our team, you develop holistic solutions and accompany the entire product lifecycle, from the requirements phase to maintenance
  • You are involved from the beginning to understand customer needs and help derive requirements for our projects
  • You are enthusiastic about trying out new things, debugging, and conducting reviews for yourself and others. Additionally, you value thorough documentation of your results
  • As part of our team, you conduct technology studies for innovative products and application areas
Your profile
  • You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable qualification
  • You have many years of work experience in product development after completing your education
  • You possess solid knowledge of architectural topics and can grasp a product comprehensively
  • You are proficient in implementing native software and enjoy working with C/C++
  • Your focus lies in the development of software for embedded systems in Linux, and you are passionate about it
  • Ideally, you have experience in the networking and security domain. Experience in working in CI/CD environments as well as working in an Agile context is a plus
  • You can express yourself fluently in both spoken and written English for regular technical discussions. German is a plus
  • You are a team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. You act responsibly and can work independently
  • Open-mindedness, curiosity, and the desire for continuous development drive you forward
