It all started with a simple idea in 2011: Let’s build a development consultancy firm where the only priority is to help those in need. Profit, image and politics are all secondary.

Today, MzN International operates as a social enterprise, helping NGOs and international organisations in 50 + countries around the world do good – better – and making business operations, models and strategies more sustainable. We are guided by a strict ethical code and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking.


A social enterprise We operate as a financially sustainable enterprise. All the work we do generates a surplus with which we finance investments in continuous improvement and research.


Our ethical code We are committed to strict ethical guidelines, including the Red Cross Code of Conduct and other international standards. We refuse to work with organisations that undermine these standards and values.


Challenging conventional thinking We think outside the box, continue to challenge assumptions and invest in research and innovation. In 2014, we worked with the University of Bristol to develop a new concept of beneficiary-led aid. In 2015, we worked on the co-developed Humanitarian Impact Bonds to help close the gap in funding for humanitarian assistance worldwide.


A bit dfferent Because we are a professional services and development consultancy firm operating as a social enterprise, we do things a bit differently. Instead of a lengthy set of rules for our employees, we promote autonomy and self-responsibility. This keeps internal red tape to a minimum. In fact, our employee guidelines fit on just one page.


We operate digitally We work digitally. Our digital infrastructure allows us to work flexibly, asynchronously and to hire the best, most diversified talent, regardless of where they are located.


100% carbon negative Like every year, in 2023, we calculated our carbon footprint and are planting trees through The Generation Forest cooperative to double offset our carbon emissions.

Email Marketer

About Us

MzN International is a social business that builds and funds non-profit organisations, providing consultancy, funding advice and capacity development. We work to strengthen those non-profit organisations and social businesses that make the world better and help us overcome social injustices and the climate catastrophe. Our work environment is digital, with a ‘work anywhere and anytime’ policy, offering growth opportunities for our team members.

Responsibilities:

Managing Email Marketing Campaigns: + Implement email marketing strategies for the three business services of MzN and Human Planet to engage and inform our audience.
+ Send tailored content and newsletters to small and better-segmented contact lists through Hubspot.
+ Create, test, and optimize email content, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated email sequences.
+ Continuously segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and other criteria to ensure targeted and relevant communication.
+ Monitor email campaign performance and analyze metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to inform future campaigns.
+ Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices, including data protection and privacy policies.Coordinate with graphic designers and content creators to produce visually appealing and informative email campaigns.
+ Conduct A/B testing to determine the most effective email content and strategies.
Hubspot/ CRM Management: + Maintain and update the CRM system, run on Hubspot
+ Ensure data integrity and provide reports on CRM activities.
+ Train team members on effective use of Hubspot.
Responding to Email Inquiries: + Monitor and respond to incoming emails promptly and professionally.
+ Direct inquiries to the appropriate team members when necessary.
+ Maintain an organized email management system for external queries
List Management: Maintain and grow the email subscriber list through various acquisition strategies. Regularly clean and update the email list to improve deliverability and engagement. Work with our CRM tool Hubspot to create better-segmented email lists.

Key Competencies:

Expert user of E-Mail marketing and CRM tools such as Hubspot Organized and proactive approach to work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with email marketing tools and best practices. Native language level English speaker
