Job Description

Emons Group is in search of an enthusiastic, self-motivated International Driver DE. The ideal candidate should be an efficient and experienced commercial driver with outstanding ability to make international trips conveying goods from one location to another.

Responsibilities:

Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicle, ensuring that the goods to be conveyed are properly and securely loaded, and the vehicle is in good running shape. Safely transport goods to various international locations strictly adhering to driving regulations and Emons Group's driving policy. Update all necessary records and paperwork including mileage, routes taken, goods conveyed, incidents, and accidents. Perform necessary troubleshooting and minor repairs such as changing tires, fixing minor malfunctions, and maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the truck's cab. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service centres, and relevant stakeholders about any delays, traffic disruptions, or any issue encountered during transit. Act as an ambassador for the company maintaining a positive image and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid Driver’s license DE with sound understanding of driving regulations for international travel. Previous professional experience in a similar role is desirable, ideally in an international logistics company. Proven ability to drive long distances and navigate routes efficiently. Excellent knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting, handling minor repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in different environments and situations. Must be in good physical condition to handle the demands of long-distance driving and handling goods. Good record-keeping abilities with strong attention to details.
