Job Description

Taking care of the transport of goods and/or containers and/or trailers to or from the internal and/or external customer in order to ensure that the assigned work is processed within the predefined time schedule and in accordance with the prescribed quality requirements, taking into account safety regulations.

RESULT AREAS

TRANSPORT

Transporting the goods and/or containers and/or trailers and ensuring timely delivery/pick-up based on a predefined schedule in order to ensure the customer that his/her needs will be met within the predefined timeline.


TASKS:

Preparing the planned route. Transporting the goods/containers/trailers based on the predefined schedule. Delivery of the goods/containers/trailers to the final destination. Driving the vehicles.

LOADING AND UNLOADING

Loading and unloading the goods and/or containers and/or trailers in the most efficient and safe manner possible in order to treat them in a regulatory and effective manner.


TASKS:

Ensuring structured loading, together with colleagues, and that the load is properly secured. Unloading the goods at the final destination according to the customer's instructions. Taking care of the timely loading and unloading of goods/containers/trailers. Reporting the arrival of the goods to the necessary stakeholders.

SAFETY AND QUALITY

Checking the transport and the goods and/or containers and/or trailers for safety regulations in order to correctly take on the responsibilities and carry out the tasks in a regular manner.


TASKS:

Checking the method of loading and the means of transport loaded. Checking the goods upon loading and upon delivery. Checking the times and routes.

ADMINISTRATION

arranging the formalities, managing the transport administration and supervising the signing off by the recipient in order to stay in line with the legislation and to ensure a smooth administrative process.


TASKS:

Processing the administration in connection with goods/containers/trailers. Carrying out the administration (defects, damage, products...) when unloading the goods/containers/trailers. Taking care of the sign-off at the time of delivery. Checking times and routes.

CONTACTS

Maintaining contacts with the organisation in order to keep them up to date at all times.


TASKS:

Communicating the estimated time of arrival. Notifying in time in case of accidents or unforeseen circumstances. Reporting of irregularities. Registering at the customer's premises.
