The research project analyses how the Chinese legal system is being


readjusted in relation to international and foreign law.


YOUR TASKS





»

Providing assistance in investigating a wide variety of sources,


including policy documents, legislation, court rulings and aca-



demic literature



»

Contributing to the preparation and editing of research findings


for publication



»

Assisting with the organization of workshops, conferences and


project team meetings



»

Preparing research findings for use in dissemination activities


YOUR PROFILE





»

Outstanding master‘s degree in Chinese studies, Chinese law,


international law (or equivalent)


»

Excellent knowledge of international law and the Chinese legal


system



»

Very good language skills in English and Chinese, including the


relevant legal terminology


»

Scientific curiosity and academic orientation



»

Strong interest in the topic of international and transnational


dimensions of Chinese law



»

A commitment to interdisciplinary and collaborative research

The position is available from 1 April 2026 on a part-time basis


(25,88 hours per week). The position is to be filled for a fixed term


until 31 March 2028. If the applicant meets the relevant wage


requirements and has the appropriate personal qualifications, the


salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale


for the German public sector.
