As
A Director of Solutions Consulting should be primarily focused on driving revenue by providing technical expertise during the sales cycle, not managing delivery teams or post-sales operations. You will:
Lead Technical Sales Cycles: Act as the senior technical expert and trusted advisor in key client meetings
Architect Winning Solutions: Design and present compelling solutions, demos, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) that solve critical client challenges
Partner to Win Deals: Collaborate closely with Account Executives on account strategy, proposals, and overcoming technical hurdles to close new business
Shape Go-to-Market Strategy: Define our technical approach and focus for the DACH market, particularly in AI and cloud
Ensure Solution Viability: Liaise with delivery teams during the sales process to ensure solutions are well-scoped and deliverable
Be a Thought Leader: Represent STX Next at industry events and with key technology partners like AWS, Azure, and GCP
Requirements

Must have:
Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data engineering pipelines, and modern AI/ML applications
Ability to connect technology with business value and influence C-level stakeholders and technical teams alike
Track record of leading cross-functional engineering teams in dynamic, international environments
Strategic mindset with entrepreneurial drive and ability to spot opportunities and act decisively
Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance
Willingness to travel across DACH to meet clients and partners
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English (C1+)
