To support our growing business, we are looking for a

Director of Product Design

. This newly created leadership role will define the design vision for Oviva’s patient app experience, a product used daily by thousands of patients managing cardio-metabolic conditions.

The Role

You’ll lead a growing, cross-functional design team across Product, Content, Pathway, CRM, Clinical, and Engineering, building a scalable, intelligent, and personalised experience powered by our Behaviour Change Engine.


Working closely with product and engineering leaders to balance hands-on design craft with strategic leadership, you will set the vision, coach designers, and drive measurable impact on patient engagement and outcomes.



Extensive experience in digital product design, including leading multi-squad teams. Strong hands-on background - you can still dive into UI/UX design, prototyping, and usability testing when needed. Proven experience shaping mobile B2C app experiences that drive measurable business and user outcomes. Deep understanding of behavioural design, accessibility, and user-centred research. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - you challenge PMs and influence at executive level. (Nice to have) Experience in health, wellness, or lifestyle products, or with AI-enabled and subscription models.

Lead and grow a team of product designers across 3-4 squads, fostering collaboration and high design quality. Shape the vision for Oviva’s Behaviour Change Engine - our core habit-building system - to deliver better patient outcomes. Drive excellence in design execution, evolving our design system and ensuring seamless integration of behavioural science and user insights. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, clinical, and engineering teams to align on strategy and user needs. Balance strategy and craft - staying close to the work while building the processes and culture that scale great design. Champion measurable impact - using data, OKRs, and usability validation to drive patient engagement and health outcomes.
