Digital Solution Manager Consolidation and Financial Reporting – Automotive Business





About the Role



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Application Specialist to join our Finance IT team, focusing on support, development and continuous improvement of our Consolidation and Reporting application as leading system for internal and external reporting.



In this role, you will act as the key interface between IT and our Finance departments, ensuring stability, compliance, and performance of critical financial systems.



You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to manage application lifecycles, implement enhancements, and support digital transformation initiatives in the Finance domain.



Key Responsibilities




Lead or support end-to-end implementation of consolidation and reporting solutions (Standard and/or Embedded models). Configure and customize meet consolidation and reporting requirements. Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing SAP BPC application, especially during month end and year end closing. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand consolidation and reporting needs. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Design and manage data flows between consolidation and source systems (e.g. Legacy Systems, S/4HANA, BW). Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the processes. Optimize performance of consolidation and reporting models. Support legal and management consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and journal entries. Ensure compliance with financial IFRS reporting standards. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides. Provide training and support to end-users and key stakeholders. Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution. Identify opportunities to improve consolidation and reporting processes through automation and best practices. Support the transition from SAP BPC to SAP S/4 HANA Group Reporting or other modern consolidation platforms. Coordinate decommissioning activities, including data archiving, system clean-up, and stakeholder communication, while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements

Strong understanding of financial processes, especially in the areas of Consolidation and Reporting. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and user satisfaction. Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment. Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with Automotive trends

Requirements & Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance, Business Informatics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience supporting and developing financial applications, ideally in Consolidation and Reporting. Familiarity with systems such as SAP BPC, S/4 HANA, SAP Group Reporting or similar platforms. Experience with ITIL-based support processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) Experience in project work or system implementation is a strong advantage
